ROSEMOUNT — Detectives in Rosemount are investigating a fatal shooting at a car wash.

Police say a 22-year-old Apple Valley man was shot and killed about 6 p.m. Monday. Witnesses told investigators a suspect fled in a car described as a 1997 to 2000 tan or gold Mercury Sable.

The Star Tribune says the homicide is the city’s first since March 2008.
