Austin police are looking for more information on a brown and white sheltie — and its owner — after the dog bit an Austin teenager Friday evening.

According to a police report, a 16-year-old girl was riding her bike in the 600 block of Fourth Street Southeast around 6:30 p.m. when the dog bit her in the left leg, puncturing the skin.

The dog was on a leash and being walked by a woman, who had another dog on a leash and a child with her, the report states. The teenage victim said the woman was in an apparent hurry, and did not provide any information before walking away to the west on Fourth Street.
