Marvin Lenoch

Marvin Stanley Lenoch, age 93, of Austin, Minn., died Thursday, June 17, 2010 at the Austin Medical Center.
Marvin was born on Aug. 29, 1916 in North Liberty, Iowa to Harvey and Mary Lenoch. He attended a country school in North Liberty. Marvin was a member of the U.S. Navy during World War II, serving in the South Pacific.
On Feb. 19, 1944 Marvin married Norma Miller. He worked at Hormel for 35 years, retiring in 1973.
In his spare time, Marvin enjoyed working in his garden, fishing, working on cars and going on long walks with the grandchildren. Marvin was a member of the Crane Community Chapel and Austin Post #91, American Legion
Marvin is survived by his wife: Norma Lenoch, Austin, Minn.; daughters: Linda Vietor, Hayfield, Minn.; Kim (Ron) Walker, Bakersfield, Calif.; grandchildren: Lee (Tina) Vietor, Hayfield, Minn., Terry Vietor, Frontenac, Minn., Jeff Vietor, Red Wing, Minn., Marc Walker, Bakersfield, Calif., Heather Walker, Bakersfield, Calif.; great grandchildren: Alexis Vietor, Autumn Vietor, Teryn Vietor, and Stella Vietor.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Lola Brandon, and great grandson Demetrius (Bucky) Vietor.
Funeral Services will be held at1:30 p.m. on Monday, June, 21, 2010 at the Clasen-Jordan Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Paul Hauschild officiating. Interment will be in the Grandview Cemetery with Austin Post #91 American Legion in charge of military rites. Visitation will be at the Clasen-Jordan Mortuary on Sunday June 20 from 4 to 6 p.m. and for one hour before the service on Monday.
