Blue Sox top Hastings
The Austin Blue Sox topped Hastings 6-3 on the road Wednesday.
Austin (7-2 overall) scored five runs in the fourth to take a 6-1 lead that wasn’t threatened as Brian Voigt picked up the win on the mound in his first action of the summer.
“Brian pitched real well and he shut them down,” Blue Sox second baseman Casey Toops said.
