The Packers No. 1 doubles team of Jacob Brehmer and Bobby Astrup saw their season come to an end when they lost to a Winona team at the Section 1AA individual meet in Red Wing Tuesday.

Winona’s team of John Sanvick and Martin Fedderson won 6-3, 3-6, 6-4.

“It went back and forth in the third set and we actually were up by a break but we couldn’t hold on,” Austin head coach Tom Tauchnitz said. “Bob and Jacob had great seasons and exceeded my expectations. Both are great kids and will be missed next year.”
