The Southland boys golf team edged out Chatfield 176-182 and the Rebel girls fell 228-294 at Chatfield Thursday.

Luke Simon was a first-time medalist for the Rebel boys with a score of 41.

“Luke Simon has played good golf lately and he really stepped up today when we needed him,” Southland head coach Tim Brennan said. “We were happy to see him get his first medalist honor in a Southland match.”
