Judith A. Helwig, 69, of Austin, died Saturday, May 15, 2010 at her home.
Judy was born on Feb. 10, 1941 in Wayzata, Minn. to Clayton and Lorna (Wefers) Endres. On Sept. 19, 1961 she married Ronald Bruce Helwig, Sr.
Judy was a Boy Scout leader for 10 years and was also active with the March of Dimes.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Judy is survived by her husband, R. Bruce Helwig, Sr. of Austin; daughter, Kathryn Helwig of Austin; sons, “Ronald” Bruce Helwig, Jr. of Manchester, N.H. and Robert Scott Helwig of Austin; grandson, Malcolm Freeborn; brother, Clayton Endres, Jr. of St. Paul, Minn.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at Clasen-Jordan Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Shari Mason officiating. Burial will be in Enterprise Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 18 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Clasen-Jordan Mortuary and for one hour before the service at Clasen-Jordan Mortuary.
Memorials are preferred to the Austin Area Boy Scouts of America.
Arrangements are by the Clasen-Jordan Mortuary.
