The Hayfield Heat won their first ever franchise amateur baseball game over the Wanamingo Jacks 4-0 on Saturday in Wanamingo.

The Heat took the lead in the top of the first when Tyler Krekling scored on a two-out single by Travis Kauffman. The Heat scored again in the third inning when Kasey Krekling singled with two outs, stole second, and scored on a Shawn Palmer single to left field. The Heat once again scored with two outs in the fifth inning when Shawn Palmer singled to score Tyler Krekling. Keeping with the odd inning theme, the Heat scored their final run in the seventh inning when Tyler Krekling scored his third run of the game on a passed ball.

Aaron Bauer had both hits for the Wanamingo Jacks.
