The Riverland baseball team split a doubleheader at Carleton College in Northfield Thursday.
The Blue Devils (15-3 overall) won the first game 8-5 and dropped the nightcap 7-5.
“We played poorly all day long,” RCC head coach Scott Koenigs said. “Some guys swung the bat well, but our pitchers, besides Brian Voigt, were getting behind and not hitting their spots.”
Voigt, Shawn Pape and Derek Hahn all homered in the win and Pape, who is from Owatonna had three doubles on the day.
