Douglas C. Dudas, 71, of Ralston, Neb., passed away at his residence Thursday, April 22, 2010.  Doug was born Sept. 26, 1938 in Austin to Tony Sr. and Bernice (Jackson) Dudas. 
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Leslie, Harold, LeVern, and Tony Jr.; sister, Helen.
He is survived by his wife, Judy “JD” (Carlson); children, Chris (Jeff) Shada, John (Amy Maxfield), Todd (Kristin), Jason; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Kenny Dudas; sisters, Ann Dudas, Dorothy Thomas, Margaret Newson, Betty Clark; mother-in-law Della Carlson.
Visitation with family will take place Monday, April 26 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Bethany Funeral Home in La Vista, Neb. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, April 27 at 10 a.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church in Ralston, Neb.  Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Papillion, Neb.  Memorials requested to the family.
