Treat yourself — no need to feel guilty about it — next week at the Mower County Relay for Life’s “Relaxation & Wine Tasting.”

Mower County Relay for Life will hold the event on Thursday, March 25 at the Healing Palms Spa, 313 N. Main St., from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

A $10 ticket includes access to wine tastings, appetizers and one spa treatment — a 10-minute chair massage, paraffin dip, chi session or facial wax. Extra spa treatments will be available for $5 each

According to the American Cancer Society, the first team Relay for Life event was held in 1986, when 19 teams participated in Washington. Today, more than 4,400 relays occur throughout the United States, with 16 nations joining the efforts. More than $364 million has been raised worldwide.
