Josephine Lucy Anderson, 94, passed away in her sleep on March 6, 2010 at the Adams Health Care Center in Adams, Minn.
Josephine was born in Coon Rapids, Iowa on April 30, 1915 to Selma and Claude White. On April 3, 1935, she married Carl Anderson. She and Carl lived and farmed near Elkton, Minn. for many years.
She is survived by four children, Curtis (Jan) Anderson of St. Paul, Minn., Alton Anderson of Ash Grove, Mo., David Anderson (Sandra “Sam” McGovern) of Rochester, Minn. and Carol Anderson (Emily) of Lanesboro, Minn.; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters and one brother.
The family will hold a private burial ceremony at a later date.
