The VFW Post 1216 Auxiliary will accept applications for The Minnesota Soldier Scholarship program.

This scholarship program provides money to a veteran that has served at least 180 days in active duty military service. The veteran can be someone who has never attended college or vocational school or someone who is in need of a new skill to stay competitive in the job market.

The purpose of this scholarship is to better the lives of veterans and their families.

To receive an application, contact the Olaf B. Damm VFW Post 1216 Auxiliary President, Daphne Wagner, at 434-7489 before March 15.
