Cory Allhiser

Cory Joe Allhiser, 32, of Austin, died Monday, Feb. 8, 2010 at St. Marys Hospital, Rochester. 
He was born March 8, 1977 to Sharon (Damon) Morgan in Rochester, Minn. He grew up between Rochester and Austin. He was executive chief at D’Amico and Sons in Minneapolis and later a Forklift driver at Hormel Foods Corp. for several years. Spending time with his two children, the pride and joy of his, as well as his nieces and nephews, was his favorite thing to do. Cory loved cooking and entertaining his family and friends.  He also enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling, golfing, playing his guitar and listening to music.
Survivors include his mother, Sharon (Damon) Morgan of Brownsdale; children, Conner and Hannah Allhiser; fiancée, Crista Green; all of Austin; sisters, Jami (Travis Schwanke) Allhiser of Austin, Amanda (Dave) Reed of Austin; grandfather, Clifford Vincek of Austin; great aunts, Mary Lou Stewart of Rochester, Barnetta Arnold of Austin; cousin, Bobbi Schlichter; Ed (Julie Allhiser) Schlichter of Austin; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 
He was preceded in death by grandmother, Beverly Stewart; great-grandmother, Irene Stewart; great-uncle, Charles Stewart.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Feb. 12, 2010 at Worlein Funeral Home Chapel.  Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment is at Calvary Cemetery in Austin. 
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials. 
A benefit and charity snowmobile ride will be held Feb. 20, 2010, to help the children and family left behind. Information regarding the ride and benefit is available on his memorial page at coryallhisermemorial.giving.officelive.com/default.aspx.
