An Austin woman called police after she bit on something quite unusual in a bowl of Cheerios Sunday.

Patricia Ann Ekholm, 63, was eating the cereal at around 6 p.m. when her tooth hit a small piece of plastic. The roughly quarter-inch object, which had a hole in the center and was wrapped with some type of silver cover, chipped Ekholm’s tooth, a police report states.

Ekholm told police that she called General Mills, the cereal company that manufactures Cheerios, and was instructed to contact local police.
