It was another tough finish for the Austin boys hockey team when it fell to Rochester Mayo 6-1 in Riverside Arena Thursday.

The Packers (6-10 overall, 0-6 Big Nine) trailed just 2-1 going into the third period, but the Spartans scored four times in the last 17 minutes to put it away.

“We were in it, but we just got out-played in the third period,” Austin head coach Tim Peterson said.
