Marilyn Wiedeman

Marilyn K. Wiedeman, 68, of Austin, died Sunday, Jan. 17, 2010 at her home.
Marilyn was born Jan. 27, 1941 in Austin to Leanard and Thelma (Riemann) Miller. On Nov. 5, 1960, Marilyn married Duane A. Wiedeman at the Austin Methodist Church. She was a full-time grandma and great-grandma and also a cook at the Hiawatha Bar.
Survivors include her children, Gary (Lois) Wiedeman, Adams, Terry (Brenda) Wiedeman, Austin, Kathy Lester (special friend Steve Bartholomew), Austin, Jody (Steve) Orth, Lyle, Danny Wiedeman, Bullhead City, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; siblings, Pat (Dave) Apold, Maple Grove, Diane Lenz, Gillette, Wyo., Ray (Pat) Swain, Austin.
She is preceded in death by her father, Leanard Miller; mother, Thelma Swain; step-father, Truman Swain; grandparents; aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 22, 2010 at Mayer Funeral Home with Father Dale Tupper officiating. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday and also one half hour before the service at Mayer Funeral Home on Friday. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
The honorary casket bearers will be Garrett, Zoe and Brady Lester; Tyler and Tristen Wiedeman; Raey Hastings. The casket bearers will be Brandon Wiedeman, Collin Orth, Bryce Orth, Chase Douglas, Scott Soderberg, Jeff Ramaker.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials.
Mayer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
