Rhonda Rae Lien Hill, 52, of Plainview, Minn. died Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 18, 2009 from injuries received in a bus accident near Austin.

Rhonda Rae Lien was born March 12, 1957 in Iowa City, Iowa to Vernon and Barbara (Paulson) Lien. She attended elementary and high school in Caledonia, Minn. and served in the US Navy. On April 14, 1982 she married David Hill in Preston, Minn.; they were later divorced.

Rhonda lived in La Crescent, Minn. and various places in Wisconsin, and in Wabasha, Minn. until 2007 when she moved to Plainview, Minn. Before being disabled, Rhonda worked at Pepin Manor Nursing Home in Pepin, Wis. and at Uni – Patch, Inc. in Wabasha. She enjoyed casino gaming.

Rhonda is survived by her son, Levi Hill of Wabasha; ex-husband, David Hill of Wabasha; her mother, Barbara Becker of Stillwater, Minn.; one sister, Roxanne Lien of Winona, Minn., and two brothers, Tim (Sue) Becker of Stillwater and Bob Lien of Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her father.

The Memorial Gathering to Celebrate the Life of Rhonda R. Hill will be on Tuesday, November 24 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Schleicher Funeral Homes, Plainview Chapel in Plainview, Minn.
