Keenan, Kritzer and Lees lead

Aaron Keenan, Jeff Kritzer and Richard Lees lead the school board election with two precints’ results reported.

Aaron Keenan, vice president of operations at Austin Medical Center, has the most votes at 787. Incumbent Richard Lees, fourteen-year board member, retired teacher and current probation officer, comes in second with 678. Jeff Kritzer, an attorney and partner with Baudler, Baudler, Maus and Blahnik, LLP, is not far behind with 669.

The levy operating referendum has 46 more yes than no votes.

Jeff Ollman, retired 31-year district speech pathologist, has 657 votes.

Incumbent Mary Kleis, one-term board member and full-time mother of two, has 634.

Incumbent David Simonson, retired Austin Police Department lieutenant and 18-year board member, has 573.

Results from Ward 1, Precinct 1, including Lansing, Red Rock, Udolpho and Waltham townships and Ward 2, Precinct 2 are in — at a total of 4012 school board candidate votes, and 1470 referendum votes.
