Karen Annella Page, 69, of Austin died early Friday morning, Nov. 20, 2009 of a pulmonary embolism after successful surgery for endometrial cancer.

Karen Annella Page was born April 16, 1940 in Austin to Roy and Lucile (Vandegrift) Page. She attended elementary and high school in Austin and graduated from the University of Minnesota. She worked for the state of Minnesota for many years.

Karen lived in New York City, N.Y. and Minneapolis, before returning to Austin to care for her mother.
Karen is survived by her daughter, Sarah Hagan of Boston, Mass. and her brother, John Page of Duluth, Minn.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
