Vikings get first win with late touchdown

The Hayfield football team scored its first win of the season with a dramatic 14-13 victory over Kenyon/Wanamingo in Hayfield.

Tanner Kramer hauled in a 16-yard touchdown pass from Tyler Nelson with 5:42 left in the game to pull the Vikings (1-6 overall) within 13-12 and Nelson connected with Tyler Anderson on the two-point conversion to put Hayfield up for good.

Hayfield’s first score came on an eight-yard run by Evan Bungum with 8:54 left in the second quarter.
