The Friends of the Austin Public Library will hold its fall book sale Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Books are available at the following prices: Adult hard cover, $2; children’s hardcover, $1; paperbacks, audio cassettes and VHS tapes, 50 cents; and CDs, DVDs, audio books on CD, $1.

The bag sale begins at 3:30 p.m. Cost is $4 for a bag of books.

The pre-sale event, which is open to Friends of the Library only, will be held today from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Membership in the Friends for $10 will be available at the door.

Donations of books will be accepted until the start of the sale. No magazines, textbooks or Readers Digest Condensed Books will be accepted.

All proceeds from this event are used for programs of the Austin Public Library.
