Mark Steven Gardner, age 51, of Austin, died Monday, Sept. 14, 2009 at his home.
Mark was born July 20, 1958 to Kirk and Rose (Chapman) Gardner in Mower County. Mark was a car salesman and enjoyed camping, fishing, and refinishing furniture.
Survivors include a daughter: Nicole (Jake) Spence, Savage, Minn.; one granddaughter: Alyssa; his mother, Rose Stundahl of Austin; three brothers: Randy Gardner and very special girlfriend, Mary Miller, Brian Gardner, David Gardner; one sister, Barbara (Dan) Maly, all of Austin; very special friend, Sue Pater, of Austin. He was preceded in death by his father, Kirk Gardner; brothers, Michael and Larry Gardner; grandparents, Mercedes and Irvin Chapman, Ethel and John Gardner; stepfather, Melvin Stundahl; sister-in-law, Pat Gardner.
Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept.17, 2009 at Cornerstone Assembly of God with Pastor David Simerson officiating.
Worlein Funeral Home of Austin is in charge of arrangements.
