The Hayfield volleyball team edged out Kenyon/Wanamingo with a five-game home victory Thursday.

The Vikings (1-0 overall) won by scores of 24-26, 17-25, 25-18, 25-16, 15-13.

Kiley Severson led Hayfield with 25 kills, 13 digs and four aces, Molly Streightiff had 44 assists, three blocks and 16 digs, Liz Ristau had eight kills, Abby Blanchard had eight kills and 11 digs, Sam Serratore had 15 digs, and Alyssa Selk had 14 digs.

K/W (0-2 overall) was led by Shelby Austh, who had 14 kills and three blocks, and Jenna Stevenson, who had 38 assists.
