Dennis John “Cha” Guttormson, 51, of Austin, died Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009 at his home.
Dennis was born April 21, 1958 in Austin to Dale and Kathleen (Fink) Guttormson. On Nov. 22, 1986 he was united in marriage to Michelle Felt in Austin.
Dennis was a salesman and also worked for Jimmy’s Fish and Seafood.
Survivors include his wife, Michelle Guttormson; children, Daniel Guttormson, John Guttormson and Jitauna Guttormson, all of Austin; sisters, Cindy (Al) Crom, Stewartville, Mary (Rob) Gleason, Austin; and father-in-law Keith Felt, Austin.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Kathleen Guttormson; brother, Mike Guttormson; grandparents; aunts and uncles.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009 at St. Augustine Catholic Church with Father John Traufler officiating. The family will greet friends one hour before the service at the church on Saturday. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
The honorary casket bearers will be his children, nieces and nephews, great nephew and “grandson,” Arnold (the dog).
