James Hulet

James David Hulet, age 68 of Austin, died Thursday morning, Aug. 27, 2009 at Meadow Manor in Grand Meadow, Minn. 
James was born Oct. 16, 1940 to John and Evadena (Boyenga) Hulet in Austin, where he grew up and graduated from high school in 1958.  James worked for the DNR, Fish and Game Department in St. Paul and the railroad in Fridley, Minn.  He married Patricia Hulet in Austin on Feb. 23, 1975.  They made their home in Minneapolis where James worked for Park and Recreation Services until 1976 when they returned to Austin. Employed by Austin Park and Rec, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and music from the 1950s, especially rock ‘n’ roll.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Hulet, Austin; brothers, John Charles (Doris) Hulet, Austin, Philip (Nancy) Hulet, Rossville, Ga.; sisters, Marilyn (John) Zrucky, North Pole, Alaska, Blanche (Steven) Hollerud, Lyle, Minn.; several nieces and nephews; parents in-law, Lucille and Donald Ramlo.  
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Evadena Hulet.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Aug. 31, 2009 at Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin with Todd Portinga, associate in ministry, officiating.  Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m., Sunday at Worlein Funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Monday.  Interment is at Oakwood Cemetery.  Memorials to donors’ choice.  You may send condolences online at www.worlein.com.
