Ezra, our gift from God, died on Aug. 3, 2009.

Ezra Samuel KamakanaokaHaku Nussbaum was born on March 4, 2009 at the Albert Lea Medical Center, the son of Jacob and Jacqueline (Ferreira) Nussbaum.
Ezra, our gift from God, with his infectious smile and laugh, will live in our hearts forever.
He will be lovingly missed by his family: Parents, Jacob and Jacqueline; brother, Elijah Jacob K. of rural Hollandale; maternal grandparents, Samuel and Gisele Ferreira, Honolulu, Hawaii; paternal grandparents, Samuel and Maggie Nussbaum, Colorado Springs, Colo., Marjorie Lamson, Stateboro, Ga.; great-grandparents, Mabel Garduque and Francis and Mary Jane Ferreira, Honolulu, Mary Nussbaum, Orville, Ohio, Ethel Lamson, Silver Springs, Fla.; aunts and uncles: Alexandra Ferreira, Honolulu; Mahina (Kaeo) Duarte, Kona, Hawaii, Christopher (Melissa) Nussbaum, St. Louis Park, Minn., Stephen Nussbaum, Ephrata, Penn., Benjamin (Jodi) Nussbaum, Zimmerman, Minn., Hans Nussbaum, Kaneohe, Hawaii, Colleen Nussbaum, Brooklyn Center, Minn.; and several cousins.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2009
at Bonnerup Funeral Service in Albert Lea. Pastor Trevor Janiche, Pastor Laverle Syverson and Pastor Mark Hsi will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before services at the funeral home.
