Firefighter water fights are a popular event at one town’s summer festival this weekend.

The annual Brownsdale Fest will feature the water fights at 4 p.m. Saturday, and also Kids Water Wars at 2 p.m. that day.

Most activities will be held at the Brownsdale Fire Department.

Car show with trophy prizes, 6 p.m.

Beer garden with mixed drinks and snack bar, 6 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Rohler Rink special with $3 admission and rental, 7-10 p.m.

Karaoke contest with Bring It DJ Sound, 8 p.m. to 1 a.m., cash prizes awarded at 12:30 a.m.

Saturday

Pancake breakfast, 9 a.m.

Giant inflatable toys, noon to 3 p.m., east of the fire hall

Kids’ carnival games, noon to 3 p.m.

Bean bag tournament, 12:30 p.m. with registration at noon

Rohler Rink special, 1-4 p.m., $3 admission and rental, located east of the fire hall

Kids’ pedal pull, 1 p.m. with registration at 12:30 p.m.

DJ show with Bring It DJ Sound, 1:30-6 p.m.

Hog roast by Piggy Blues Bar-B-Que, 4-8 p.m.

Silent basket auction winners announced, 6 p.m.

Live music with the Circuit Breakers, 8 p.m. to midnight
