A Kasson, Minn., man reported his 1969 Harley-Davidson stolen Tuesday in Austin, not long after he bought it for $10,000.

James Lee Nelson, 31, told the Mower County Sheriff’s Office that his bike broke down near 30456 Mower-Freeborn Rd. at around 9:30 p.m. He took it to the nearby Red Oak Grove Church parking lot and left it there when his girlfriend picked him up. Nelson returned around 11:30 and discovered the bike missing. He said he had taken the keys with him when he left it.

Nelson said the bike is black with orange flames, has chrome parts, and has a big front wheel and fat rear wheel.
