The Hambone Blues Jam has been chosen as one of the first 10 U.S. music festivals to be featured as part of the “Elwood’s Bluesmobile Guest List” contest.

In 2008, Dan Aykroyd (“Elwood Blues”) interviewed Josh Diaz, of the Hambone Board of Directors, for a program on his House of Blues Radio Hour to make the public aware of little known or up and coming blues festivals in the U.S.

Artie Flores from St. Paul was chosen as winner by Aykroyd to receive free passes to the festival.

The Hambone Blues Jam Music Festival will be held Friday, June 26 from 6 p.m. to midnight and Saturday, June 27 from noon to 12:30 a.m. at Holiday Park Golf Course on Highway 46 between Austin and Albert Lea.

The lineup includes local and national acts.
