The Southland baseball team rallied for eight runs in the top of the seventh to beat Dover/Eyota 11-3 on the road Tuesday.
The Rebels (11-7 overall) were able to rally as they wore out D/E’s starting pitcher.
“I think their pitcher was a little tired and by the time they took him out, it was too late,” Southland head coach Scott Retterath said.
The Rebels got a clutch pitching performance from Adam Kiefer who replaced Mitch Nagele, who left with a sore arm, and struck out five while allowing just two hits and one walk in three innings.
