Miss Minnesota, Angela McDermott, will be signing autographed photos and greeting the public at the Albert Lea TIC from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, May 15.

The appearance of Miss Minnesota is part of the National Tourism Week (May 9-15) promotion.

McDermott works at the Austin Convention and Visitor’s Bureau.

McDermott and Austin CVB director Cheryl Corey and Betty Olson will be displaying information about the city of Austin — its attractions, dining, lodging information and more.

This year is the 26th annual National Tourism Week and is a great opportunity to learn more about new places to visit in Minnesota.

Guests are invited to enjoy cookies and coffee and to meet McDermott and learn more about Austin.
