Marie E. (Pacholl) Feeley, 99
Marie Eleanor (Pacholl) Feeley, 99, of Austin died and began her new life on May 21, 2009, three days after her 99th birthday. She died at Sacred Heart Care Center where she had been a resident for eight years.
Marie was born in Minneapolis, Minn., the youngest child of Anna and Albert Pacholl on May 18, 1910. Although she had a number of moves as a child, she lived her entire adult life in Austin. She graduated in 1929 from Austin High School. In April 1931 she married Charles J. Feeley who was a butcher and worked at the Hormel plant. Marie was known for her excellent baking skills, especially cakes and candies which she shared generously.
Survivors include her son, Joseph C. Feeley, Austin; daughter, Mary Ann Feeley, Rochester. 
She is preceded in death by her husband on Aug. 2, 1959; son, Lawrence James who died at age 2 1/2 and all of her siblings.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 23, 2009 at Sacred Heart Care Center with Father Donald Zenk and Chaplain Mary Feeley officiating. Friends may call one hour before the service at Sacred Heart on Saturday. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Leukemia Lymphoma Foundation or Sacred Heart Care Center.
