The Austin girls golf team edged out Mankato East 362-429 in Austin Friday.

The Packers were led by Catherine Wagner, who shot an 82, and Kelsey Stough shot a career low score of 90 after hitting two birdies on PAR fives.

“We finally put it all together today. Just about everybody improved and our team was excited to shoot our season low so far.” Austin head coach Carissa Gabrielson said. “Kelsey’s putting was much better and her tee shots were great too.” 

Austin improved 10 shot from it’s previous season best and 20 strokes better than what it did on Tuesday.
