Rebels cruise past GMLOK

The Southland baseball team jumped out early and hung on in an 11-3 win at Grand Meadow/LeRoy/Ostrander/Kingsland Tuesday.

The Rebels (6-4 overall, 6-4 Three Rivers) scored five times in the first three frames and it never got closer.

Alan May allowed just four hits one walk and one earned run in seven innings while striking out nine.

“We’ll take one walk and nine strikeouts from Alan and we came up with hits with runners in scoring position,” Southland head coach Scott Retterath said. “We’re coming along.”
