Larry S. Daigneau, 89, Austin died on April 22, 2009 at Comforcare Good Samaritan Center in Austin.
He was born Aug. 22, 1919 in Austin to Don and Claire (Sleeper) Daigneau. Larry graduated from Austin High School and was married to Elizabeth Joan Bondhus on July 9, 1945 in Austin. He was the Navy Reserve Flight Instructor at Albert Lea, Minn. and then the manager of the Austin Airport. He began selling cars at Usems Chevrolet and later became the sales manager until his retirement. Among his hobbies, Larry enjoyed collecting, flying, golfing and fishing. He was a member of the First Congregational Church, the Austin Country Club and the Austin Elks Club.
Larry is survived by his spouse, Elizabeth Joan Daigneau, Austin; daughter, Patricia Joan Daigneau McKelvey, Daly City, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his patents and a brother, Don R. Daigneau.
A private graveside service will be held at Oakwood Cemetery at a later date. Clasen-Jordan Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
