The Paramount Theatre publicist describes it as “something different for the family to enjoy.”

The Tweaksters will be performing “fabulous feats of physical fun” at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 8.

The innovative mix of acrobatic dance and artistic juggling blends pure athletic creativity with odd objects in a rhythmic performance designed to, the publicist said, “tweak and delight audiences of all ages.”

From ping pong air-raids to glow-in-the-dark illusions, the Tweaksters hour-long performance is done by advocates of physical education in schools and physical fitness in the lives of all Americans.

The Tweaksters will also hold a free performance from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 11, Healthy Kids Day, at the Austin YMCA.

Tickets to the April 8 performance are $14 for adults and $7 for students.

The Paramount Theatre box office is open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday. Tickets to all Paramount events are also available in Austin at Hy-Vee Food Store, B&J Bar and Grill and Hardy Geranium as well as Tone Music, Albert Lea.
