LaVonne D. (Baumgartner) Bradley, age 68, passed away peacefully at 1 p.m. on March 15, 2009 at her home in Andover, Minn., surrounded by her loving family.
LaVonne was born on Sept. 21, 1940 to Edgar and Virginia Baumgartner in Richardson Township, Minn.
LaVonne was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who fought a courageous battle with cancer.
LaVonne is survived by her husband: Charles Bradley, Andover; son Chuck Bradley, Andover; daughter: Peggy (David) Anderson, Andover; grandchildren: Bethany and Rachel Anderson, Andover; siblings: Fern (Harry) Wilkes, Onamia, Minn., Margaret (Hector) Sharbonno, Anoka, Minn., Dorothy Holada, Onamia, Minn., Melvin (Ella May) Baumgartner, Onamia, Gerald (Luella) Baumgartner, Sioux Falls, S.D., Geraldine (Bob) Ackland, Austin, Joyce (Sharon) Johnson, Albert Lea, Marge (LaMoyne) Heidemann, Albert Lea, Harold (Virginia) Baumgartner, Bloomington, Minn., Karen (Troy) Miller, San Diego; numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Virginia Baumgartner, and a sister, Shirley.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, March 19, 2009 at Gearhart Anoka Funeral Home in Anoka.
