The opening ceremonies of the Minnesota State United States Bowling Congress Open Championship kicked off Saturday at Echo Lanes in Austin. The event goes every weekend from now into May. Austin Mayor Tom Stiehm and Days Inn/Holiday Inn general manager Dwayne Osternout took part in a quick round Saturday. The two were bowling for charity.
