Junior guard Rachel Rosedahl scored 17 points, including three treys for the LeRoy/Ostrander girls basketball team at Lake City Saturday, but it wasn’t enough to secure the victory.

The visiting team trailed 31-19 at the break and fell 52-42 in the non-conference contest.

Junior forwards McKinze Bunne and Kaylee Bunne each had nine points and Rosedahl added 11 rebounds.

“We were a little rusty,” said Russ Foster, Cardinals head coach. “But Lake City has a nice big team. They shoot the ball well, a physical team. For a non-conference game, I thought we played pretty well.”
