Austin police are looking for an elderly Austin man after he was reported missing Wednesday.

Linda Stadheim of Rochester, reported her dad Louis John Stadheim, 83, of 2304 Eighth Ave. S.W., missing at just after 10 p.m. Wednesday after leaving Austin Medical Center that day around 3 p.m.

Police checked the AMC parking lot and County Road 46 as far as Oakland with negative results. Alerts were also sent to Freeborn and Olmsted Counties.

Louis, who according to Linda Stadheim was in good spirits, was driving a 2003 white Buick Century.
