Southland got off to another rough start at the Montgomery/Lonsdale boys basketball invite, but this time they turned it around and beat LeCenter (1-4 overall) 59-47 Tuesday.

The Rebels (2-4 overall) trailed 13-2 out of the gates and were down 26-21 at the half, but they bounced back.

“We had another slow start and it was like ‘here we go again,’” Southland head coach Jon Thalberg said. “But the guys really responded and came to play. The kids worked their tails off.”
