LETTER: Thank you for your support

The Austin Jaycees ran the Christmas for Kids Campaign and thank those who were able to make donations. The Christmas for Kids Campaign helped us shop for more than 25 kids from the Parenting Resource Center and the Salvation Army Sharing Tree. We’ve raised more than $2,500 from loose change to big checks, with donations still coming in. As the donations keep coming in, we are still shopping. Our goal is no child left without Christmas gifts.
If you want to donate please call 434-4689.

The Ville won the fundraiser of the year where Connie Smith raised $800 dollars. She was given eight red roses and a traveling trophy designed and donated by Wrad Wrags.
The trophy is to encourage holiday giving between the bars year to year.
With the support of the community and all who donated to these kids, a deep heartfelt, thank you. Your generosity has moved every Jaycee. Remember to say a prayer of thanks for everything we have. We should be all smiling little harder on Christmas knowing these kids will be receiving a Christmas every child deserves. It seems no matter how hard times may be, we give from our heart and everything falls into place.
We all know a lot of love went into donating your money.
