Charles “Charlie” E. Irwin, age 73 of Bloomington, Minn., passed away Nov. 26, 2008 surrounded by his family.
Charlie worked more than 45 years as a sheet metal worker with Local 10.
Charlie is survived by his wife of 51 years: Shirley (Newkirk) Irwin; mother: Dorothy Johnson; children: Cathy (Ulie) Seal, Chuck Irwin, Cindy (Duane) Haddick and Chris (Phil) Wolf; 10 grandchildren; brothers: Gary, Hugh, Mike and Don; sisters: Pat, Kay, Tina and Terry; many family and friends.
He is preceded in death by father, Howard; brother, Lesley; sisters, Catherine and Jean Ann.
Funeral Service will be 11:30 a.m. Monday at Lutheran Church of the Redemption, 927 E. Old Shakopee Rd., Bloomington (952-881-0035). Visitation is today from 3 to 6 p.m. at Gill Brothers Funeral Chapel, 9947 Lyndale Ave. S. and one hour prior to service at church.
In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to the donor’s choice.
