The Riverland volleyball team (11-11 overall) came up short against Western Wisconsin Tech by scores of 23-25, 21-25, 25-13, 15-25 Monday in La Crosse.

The Blue Devils started the fourth game with a 6-1 lead but couldn’t hang on and Riverland made some costly defensive errors late in the second game.

Tiffany Preuss had 14 kills, nine assists, and 24 digs for Riverland, Ashley Lau had 11 kills and four aces, Krissy Schemmel had eight kills and 19 assists, Katie Krogh had 35 digs, and Jenny Ingvalson had three blocks.
