They have the momentum. The Austin boys soccer players ended their regular season Saturday with a 3-2 home win against John Marshall.

The Packers, as the No. 3 seed, will host Red Wing at 7 p.m. Tuesday for their first game in the playoffs.

On Saturday, Peter Lindahl scored Austin’s first goal, with an assist from Jacob Brehmer.

The contest was tied 1-1 at the half.

In the second half, the Packers offense struck again with Drew Halvin’s goal on an assist by Will Darling.

Henry Darling’s rocket goal from 25 yards on an assist from Brehmer put the Austin team up for good.
