Duane C. Hanson, 75
Duane C. Hanson passed away Oct. 13, in Springfield, Ore. from complications after surgery.
Duane was born Nov. 12, 1932 in Austin to Alvin and Mildred (Kolpen) Hanson. After graduating from Austin High School in 1950 he went into the Air Force. He married Patricia Jones on July 11, 1954 in Austin and worked for Hormel Foods for 32 years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia; sons: Ronald, Rick and Rod; brothers: David and John; sisters: Patricia Magee, Deanna Tischer, Cynthia Hanson and Suzanne Hoffman; and four much-loved grandkids.
A celebration of life will be held Friday from 2-3 p.m. at Daneland Mobile Home Park’s recreation center in Eugene. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association. Andreason’s Cremation and Burial Service, (541) 485-6659, is assisting the family with arrangements.
