Roger S. Plunkett, 77
On Aug. 30, 2008 Roger S. Plunkett, age 77, of Austin and Rochester, Minn., went gently into that goodnight. 
Following a 16 year battle with heart disease, he begrudgingly passed with his wife by his side. Roger worked hard his whole life serving in the United States Air Force, practicing law, working as a District Court Judge until retirement and finally operating the Extraordinary Bookseller in Rochester with his wife and son Steve.
Roger loved his family deeply and is survived by his wife H. Elizabeth Plunkett; sons, Stephen, Thomas (Chris Wangen); daughter, Katz, (Jonas Qvale); grandsons, Rory, Jack, Aleksander and Nikolai; and roughly 20 thousand volumes of books.
