Margaretha M. Carlson, 83
Margaretha Maria Carlson, 83, of Austin died on Sept. 26, 2008 at Austin Medical Center.
She was born June 10, 1925 in Susterseel, Germany to Louis and Maria (Dalmen) Tillemans. She married Charles Carlson on Dec. 4, 1952 in Valkenburg, Holland. Margaretha was a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church. Margaretha was a devoted housewife, a loving mother and grandmother. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing and making her home beautiful.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Carlson, Austin; daughter,  Alexandra Carlson, Austin; twin sister, Henrica Darden, Orlando, Fla.; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Janeth and Keith Alm, Austin; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Christina Carlson; grandson, Phillip Hubbard; and brother, Hubert Palmen.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 2, 2008 at Clasen-Jordan Mortuary with Father Joe Fogal officiating. Interment will be in the Oakwood Cemetery in Austin. Visitation will be at Clasen-Jordan Mortuary on Thursday for one hour before the service.
