Dale R. Renchin, 68
Dale Raymond Renchin, 68, died on Sept. 3, 2008 at his home in rural Austin. 
He was born April 4, 1940 to Raymond and Delores (Severson) Renchin in Blooming Prairie, Minn., where he grew up and graduated from Blooming Prairie High School in 1959. He worked for Associated Grocers in Blooming Prairie. He married Florence Ryks in 1959. They were later divorced. In 1968 Dale went to work in the case ready pork department at Hormel Foods Corp.  He married Mary Merritt on Aug. 26, 1972 in Austin. He retired in May of 2003. A member of the Blooming Prairie Gun Club, Dale enjoyed hunting, fishing, tinkering with things and taking care of his yard. He did the mowing at Udolpho Cemetery for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Mary, rural Austin; children, Cory (Beth) Renchin, Chicago, Ill., Casey (Jess) Renchin, Hollandale, Kyle Renchin, Austin, Gina (Tom) Lenaghan, Nevada, Iowa, Kim Renchin, Wichita, Kan., Lisa (Craig) Fraser, Ankeny, Iowa; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; mother, Delores Renchin, Hayfield; sister, Ann (Tom) Noble, Stewartville; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jim and Diane Merritt, Austin, Don and Sue Anderson, Elkton, Patty and Sonny Forschen, Andover, Terry and Nancy Grunwald, Austin; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 6, 2008 at First United Methodist Church with Pastor Dennis Tamke officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment is at Udolpho Township Cemetery, Mower County. Worlein Funeral Home in Austin is in charge of arrangements.
